About Cockfosters
Cockfosters is a largely residential suburb at the northern edge of the Enfield borough, with a documented history reaching back to at least the 16th century and coverage spanning the EN2, EN4 and N20 postcodes. The area has appeared in works by Helen Simpson and the late John Betjeman, and the Chickenshed Theatre Company famously began life here in 1975, originally performing in an actual chicken shed before relocating to Southgate. Linked sibling areas include Hadley Wood, Highlands Village, Oakwood, Southgate and World’s End.
Property along these streets ranges from listed and detached houses to semi-detached and mid-terraced homes, plus new-build apartments and basement flats in converted period stock. Local sales through an agent can run anywhere from a few weeks to many months, swayed by lease length on flats, the condition of older houses and the make-up of the chain.
Operating since 2003, LDN Properties buys homes throughout Cockfosters and the wider Enfield borough. We’re registered with The Property Ombudsman (membership D12463), giving sellers the assurance of a regulated process. There’s no commission to settle, no fees attached and no chain hanging over the deal.
