About Bowes Park
Straddling the boundary between the Enfield borough and neighbouring areas of north London, Bowes Park spans postcodes including N11, N13, N22 and N8 and takes its name from the Bowes manor recorded as far back as 1396. Residential growth in the late 1800s shaped much of the present streetscape, and annual events such as the Bowes Park Summer Festival and the Myddleton Road Market still draw crowds today – the area has even doubled as a filming location for productions including the sitcom “Spaced” and the film “The Infidel”. Adjacent districts include Southgate, Arnos Grove, Palmers Green and Winchmore Hill.
Stock here ranges from Victorian terraces and purpose-built flats to flats above shops, retirement homes, tenanted properties and detached houses. With such a spread, sale timelines are far from uniform – a short lease on an upper-floor flat, an older terrace needing refurbishment, or a buyer caught in a longer chain can each move the timeframe in different directions.
Trading since 2003, LDN Properties is a member of The Property Ombudsman (membership D12463) and buys properties across Bowes Park and the wider Enfield borough. Because we’re the direct buyer, there’s no estate agent commission, no auction costs and no onward chain involved. Sellers keep their own solicitor and the legal work proceeds through standard conveyancing across N11, N13 and N22.
